Autoscribe Informatics Announces New President, North American Operations

Autoscribe Informatics, a leading provider of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), is delighted to announce the appointment of Claude Hatfield as President, North American Operations. Claude assumes responsibility for leading the North American operation to achieve its revenue, profit and cashflow objectives while encouraging global teamwork.
Claude brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the informatics market which includes significant experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. He held a number of positions at Ortho Pharmaceutical including coordinating workflows to meet product release and designing, developing and validating laboratory robotics systems. While at Zymark Corporation, he launched new business ventures providing the pharmaceutical industry with laboratory automation consulting services and a state-of-the-art laboratory to develop and validate automated analytical methods. In 1999, Claude co-founded VelQuest, who provided market leading LES systems for the commercial pharmaceutical market. His role included involvement in all business-critical activities from strategy, budgeting and sales through to product development and delivery. He remained with VelQuest for many years and continued through its acquisition by Accelerys in 2012 as Senior Director of Sales. In recent years he has worked as an independent consultant.
